EXPLOSION PROOF ROBOTIC SURVEY OF BURIED PIPES OF DIA 180 MM TO 1000MM OR HIGHER OR HAZARDOUS AREAS
We understand the critical importance of maintaining the integrity of underground pipelines and conduits.
We use the highest precision ATEX Zone 1 approved explosion proof Proteus robotic camera crawlers and other remote visual inspection push cameras to effectively inspect, diagnose, and maintain pipelines without the need for disruptive excavation or costly downtime.
The Proteus CRP140ExZ1 ATEX approved robotic crawlers utilized are capable of surveying pipes of sizes 150mm to 1000 mm or higher , with a Pan-tilt-zoom camera with built in lasers which can additionally perform dimensional measurements for both sizing, and defect detection.
Deliverables include:
- Visual condition assessment of pipes
- Find a defect, measure length of defect, such as crack in pipe or joint displacement, with automatic insertion of measurement in report after identification
- Perform water level measurements in pipe
The Robotic Crawlers are equipped with WinCAN software for data report generation based on pre-fed attribute information derived from built in codes, and to additionally collate available as built maps with video data acquired during survey. Reports are provided in pdf.
In addition, the robotic crawler inspection system can be utilized to travel into and capture videos of areas otherwise hazardous for a human being to enter.
