Buried water pipe leak detection may be required in city or town buried water lines or by industry.

More than 40% of the water in many of the existing buried water pipes is lost. in the case of water boards managing city or towns, this water loss becomes non-revenue water, and results in lower availability of water to citizens. In case of industry, old buried pipes which may be leaking result in pressure drop, leaving two options – restore the leak or change the old pipes.

Solution to identifying locations of water leak detection is not easy and requires manpower with capability of identifying water leaks based on an understanding of how water mains and distribution works, with preferably either technological or decades of experience.

Water leak detection services offered by us are based on a variety of equipment options:

1. Digital acoustic water leak detectors, designed to find water leaks in water pipes buried upto 5 meters, with minimum pressure of 2 bar or higher. This method is utilized when the asset owner should know approximate area or possible route of pipe to allow isolate leak preferably within 30 meters pipe distance, or else at least within 100 meters.
2. Leak noise correlators, for isolating leaks, especially pertinent where the locations are experiencing recurrent leaks, have high ambient noise or where continuous monitoring is required to identify and correct multiple leak points. this is usually followed by the 1^st method to clearly identify location of leak, to allow the user dig and repair the leak.
3. Permanent leak noise correlators, where we will deploy permanent telemetry based leak noise loggers for 24 x 7 monitoring, for feedback to operator.
